Our team is looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager who can lead daily operations, ensure excellent service, and uphold our high standards — while maintaining compliance with all licensing requirements.
Job Summary
As the Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during your shift, leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring all liquor and operational regulations are followed. You will act as the on-site manager, maintaining service quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.
- Lead and support front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol (RSA).
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee cash handling, sales reconciliation, and shift closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Train, motivate, and mentor staff to deliver outstanding hospitality.
- Ensure all operational and safety policies are followed.
Requirements
- Valid Liquor License and Certified Duty Manager License (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in hospitality.
- Experience in Indian or ethnic cuisine preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with POS systems and daily sales reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
