About the Role:

As a Duty Manager, you’ll be an essential part of our leadership team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. Reporting to the site senior leadership team, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing front-of-house operations, including venue opening and closing, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
  • Leading and coaching team members on Service Steps, setting them up to deliver top-notch guest service.
  • Handling guest needs and resolving escalations with professionalism and care.
  • Managing rosters effectively, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring compliance with OHS, food safety, and security standards.
  • Supporting inventory processes, recording stock movements accurately, and ensuring the cinema meets Village Cinemas’ high standards of presentation.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership potential and a commitment to guest service excellence. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Proven leadership skills and a dedication to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • The ability to coach and motivate team members, maintaining high operational standards.
  • A detail-oriented approach and commitment to compliance and safety.
  • Confidence in handling guest escalations and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality

Availability Requirements:

As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role during peak periods. We’re looking for team members with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
