Duty Manager

We are looking for a Bar Manager to work for our busy Bar in Riccarton

The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and controlling the overall operations of the restaurant/Bar.

Key tasks:

· Coordinate stock purchases and set pricing within budget.

· Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability.

· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of stock levels and other essential operational documentation.

· Keep record of financial transactions.

· Collaborate with the chef to prepare and plan the menu.

· Gather and review customer feedback to inform decision-making.

· Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.

· Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities.

· Welcome and assist customers, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.

· Set performance targets and create actionable plans to achieve them.

· Manage reservations and assist with taking orders.

· Organise and coordinate special events and functions.

· Evaluate customer satisfaction with both meals and service.

· Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.

.Liquor Manager Licence required

· Any other duties which are required by the management.

Role requirements:

· Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

· Passion for customer service

Job details:

· Hours of work – 2.00 p.m to 10.30 p.m

· Pay rate - $25 P/H
