We're a Brooklyn-based focaccia business with a Saturday market stall in Fort Greene. We're looking for a reliable, skilled baker to join us for the early morning production shifts — someone who takes pride in their craft, works well independently, and can hold down the kitchen before the market opens.
- Saturdays, 3:30 AM – 8:30 AM
- Season: March – July, September – December
- Location: Fort Greene, Brooklyn
- Pay: $22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Mix focaccia dough according to our recipes and standards
- Prep toppings and assemble focaccia ahead of baking
- Bake and monitor product quality throughout the shift
- Package baked goods for transport
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workspaces after each shift
Requirements:
- Hands-on bakery experience
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time during a shift
- Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handlers license
