Early Morning Baker - Saturday Am - Seasonal

We're a Brooklyn-based focaccia business with a Saturday market stall in Fort Greene. We're looking for a reliable, skilled baker to join us for the early morning production shifts — someone who takes pride in their craft, works well independently, and can hold down the kitchen before the market opens.

  • Saturdays, 3:30 AM – 8:30 AM
  • Season: March – July, September – December
  • Location: Fort Greene, Brooklyn
  • Pay: $22/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Mix focaccia dough according to our recipes and standards
  • Prep toppings and assemble focaccia ahead of baking
  • Bake and monitor product quality throughout the shift
  • Package baked goods for transport
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workspaces after each shift

Requirements:

  • Hands-on bakery experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time during a shift
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Food handlers license
