If you are someone who can build strong working relationships across all levels and has excellent leadership and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work schedules, this is the opportunity for you. As an OMS Advisor, you will gain exposure to every aspect of our business including best practice warehousing processes, continuous improvement, IT systems, finance, project management, client relationship management, budgeting and costing models, and more.
Working independently to manage your time and workstreams, you will be responsible for:
- Managing medium to large Operations Excellence projects in line with the project management methodology to achieve successful delivery
- Implementing Operations Excellence programmes, e.g. Operations Management System, OMS Data Management Systems and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Managing the overall planning, control, stability, and delivery of assigned projects.
- Developing detailed implementation plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports to maintain customer satisfaction
- Obtaining feedback from key stakeholders and managing stakeholder relationships across the business
- Delivering training and coaching to stakeholders on key cultural standards, including performance management, standardisation, leadership, and continuous improvement
- Establishing high performing delivery teams in operations through standards setting and ensuring team engagement
- Coaching and influencing stakeholders towards a successful outcome for DHL and the operation

What you’ll bring to the role
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Commerce, Project Management, or a related field
- Outstanding ability to influence behaviour and champion continuous improvement programs
- Proven experience in the supply chain industry
- Previous experience in a project management or process improvement role
- Effective communication skills - both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
