Editorial Assistant Intern

The purpose of this role is to provide real-world experience, learning industry technical and professional skills, abilities and activities to contribute to the Dentsu network. Job Description: Position: Editorial Assistant Intern Dentsu Creative South Africa is seeking to appoint an Editorial Assistant (intern) for the Tech and Sports magazine cluster. Tech and SportsClub Magazine is the biggest consumer magazines in South Africa. The position is based in Cape Town and you will report directly to the editor.

The ideal candidate has an active interest in media, print or online and a basic working knowledge of, or active interest in, technology and sports. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the editor with administrative tasks
• Writing shortform articles
• Research
• Attending occasional industry events

Key requirements:

• Basic writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work under deadline pressure
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the job
