As the Education Manager, you will be at the forefront of educational leadership within the Centre for Foundational Studies. Under the broad direction of the Associate Director, you will provide vision, leadership, and operational management to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and innovative learning and assessment practices. Your role will be pivotal in meeting the needs of diverse student cohorts while adhering to Swinburne’s quality standards.

Your role will be pivotal in meeting the needs of diverse student cohorts while adhering to Swinburne’s quality standards.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- A sound knowledge and demonstrated significant experience and understanding of Adult Migrant English Program( AMEP) or Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) or General Education (GE)
- Demonstrated experience in high level planning, organisational and complex problem-solving skills, which enable business units to achieve performance targets and budgets.
- A proven ability to negotiate, collaborate and foster strong relationships both internally and externally; including engagement with industry, the community and professional networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to effectively lead a team in the delivery of innovative teaching and learning courses to culturally and academically diverse domestic and international student cohorts.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary degree or management qualification or equivalent experience and currency
- AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Vocational Education
