Electrical Engineering Technicians

AMPERE PLUS ELECTRICAL AND CABLE JOINTING SOLUTIONS LIMITED is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Engineering Technicians.

The Pay-Rate is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on work experience, qualifications and exposure.

You must have three years of relevant experience and/or a relevant qualification (Diploma or above).

The tasks that you will conduct, include;

• Understand and follow electrical plans and instructions
• install or maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• work with various equipment, including switches, transformers, generators andcircuit breakers
• Conducting tests after calibration to ensure electrical systems are working as expected.
• Maintain documentation of systems and equipment’s being worked on.
• Manage and create logs, maintenance logs and manuals as may be required fromtime to time.
• check for faulty wiring or short circuits in electrical systems
• create engineering plans for systems and perform supporting roles
• ensure effective spare parts management and supervise project improvement processes
• Installation, repairing and testing models of electrical systems
• Recording data on testing techniques, equipment, and other work
• Reporting findings and results to colleagues and clients
• Research new ways to solve electrical problems
• Outline the materials needed for new work projects
• Calculate the cost of new equipment needed for new work projects
• Judge the condition of electrical equipment, to ensure safety and design standards
• are met
• Maintenance duties and coordination of shutdowns to reduce down times and
• system failure rates.
• Help design electrical installations and control circuits, under supervision; and
• Any other tasks required to be conducted in pursuance of the role of Electrical
• Engineering Technician.
