Electrical Trade Assistant

Nexgen Electrical NZ Limited is an Auckland-based company seeking Electrical Trade Assistance to join our busy team.

Responsibilities:

Domestic/Residential/Commercial wiring, installation & Maintenance, HVAC installation/ maintenance

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
• Assist to run cables through subfloor/confined spaces (Preffered)
• Trenching for Data services
• Holes in walls/soffitt to install rangehood & Exhaust fans
• Holes to run prewiring for new builds
• Trenching For mains power supply
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the allocated timeframes
• Assist Sparky for Electrical Fitt off & Heat pumps installation

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Trainee Limited License or Electrical Trade Assistance in domestic/commercial installations
• Must have EWRB Trainee Limited License as an electrician
• Own tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and good at following instructions
• Be motivated and have a good attitude
• Strong customer service ethic
• Must have deep knowledge for Electrical system & electrical components
• Stock management & Stock record
