What you’ll do:
You will be responsible to lead, grow, develop and manage large installation & commissioning projects mainly focused within the Datacenter segment within the fast growing EMEA region. This includes UPS & Medium Voltage Switchgear for the field service engineering (FSE) and site management including sub-contractor selection & management. You will be a positive advocate for Eaton’s Zero Safety Culture whilst applying standard work practices and processes. This includes field resource sharing across EMEA and assisting to grow sales revenues and margins within the country service units. You are going to report to Operations Director as member of EMEA Services Operations Leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Promotes Eaton’s Zero Safety Culture and leads specific programs including inspections to improve the overall EHS culture within installation & commissioning projects
Standardize and improve installation and commissioning EHS processes to reduce risks and further protect our FSE’s in the field
Manage capability planning for FSEs & Site managers and ensure smooth execution in the countries, by utilizing the large projects pipeline and projects man-planner
Develop our FSE & site management project execution capacity across EMEA, early identification of site management resource needs in emerging countries
Responsible for ensuring full utilization of central FSE & site management resources and being a stakeholder in sub-contractor supplier selection to best effect in achieving on time and to cost completion
Report overall performance KPI's during the installation & commissioning phase of the project and develops as well as implements corrective actions & recovery plans as required
Develop standard service processes customized to key account customer requirements, expectation and being the central repository of know-how
Support continuous improvement processes. postmortem analysis in terms of service margin, quality and related process improvements activities
Oversee crisis & escalations, acting as a single point of contact/subject matter expert providing support to engineers, site managers and customers alike.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, other Engineering domains are also welcomed
Extensive experience working in Datacenter business experience within operations and large project management in service environment
Proven track record in people management, leading cross functional, field service engineering & site management teams locally and remotely
Power distribution and/or Power Quality Technical background focusing on commissioning & crisis management activities
Ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders within the business
Capability to provide operational leadership to the EMEA service organization
Client management and solution focused attitude
Acts as a role model in line with ethical standards of conduct and Eaton leadership value & attributes
Knowledgeable in building organizational capability, process improvement, business planning and strategy
Proactive mind-set with desire for clear accountability and ownership
Eligibility to travel within EMEA region and having driving license
Fluent in English, any local other European language knowledge is considered as advantage
