Our ED Clerical team are looking for Emergency Clerks! We have x2 part time 0.5 FTE and x1 part time 0.3 FTE positions available. These shifts are variable shifts working from Monday to Sunday, so flexibility is key so that you are able to work the shifts below:
- Day - 0730-1600 hours
- Evening - 1530-0000 hours
- Night - 2330-0800 hours
If you are one of the successful candidates you’ll be working alongside a very diverse team of health care extraordinaires in the busiest Emergency Department in Australasia! It’s a fast paced environment, so be prepared to wear your rollerskates and bring your “can do positive attitude”. This position’s primary function is to ensure the timely registration of patients who present to the Emergency Care department as needed. You’ll also provide administrative support to the Clinical team as needed.
If you hold a minimum of 2-3 years customer service experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines and hold and a great command of computer skills then we would love to hear from you! Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage, however full systems training and orientation is provided when you join our team! Dependent on skills and experience the salary is in line with the National Health Administration staff collective agreement.
