Entry Level Marine Safety Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry level Life Raft Tech /Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recertifing life rafts at our Coast Guard approved service station. At times you will assist with transporting marine safety supplies efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality control and the ability to want to grow with a great local company.

Duties

We will train you how to unpack/inspect/certify and repack life rafts. We are one of the only service stations on the Gulf Coast of Florida so we are always busy. As you enhance your skills we will provide no cost to you OEM Certification Training Programs. Each certification comes with an increase in pay

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or route driving is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous. Having a clean CDL starts you at a hire pay
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
