Company Description :

Bankside Capital is an asset management company with investments across venture capital, private equity and the global public market.

This role will be based in Singapore.

Job Scope:

• Fundamental research and financial modelling for equities

• Produce data driven regular reports on the macro environment

• Prepare investment memos and client presentation materials related to investment manager recommendations, portfolio updates, and other thematic discussion topics customized for clients

• Research and highlight interesting new private investment ideas and maintain a customized investment pipeline for each client

• Gather and analyze clients’ historical performance and company exposure data with the aim of developing a strategy for their private investments portfolio, understanding portfolio geographical and sector exposures, and identifying performance drivers/detractors

• Drive establishment of a technology-driven wealth management platform.

• Coordinate with the fund manager and analyst to analyse trading strategies, market conditions, and trading system performance;

• Create tools for data cleaning, processing and analysis;
  

Requirements:

Proficient in use of Excel and Powerpoint software and other computer-based analytical tools (eg. Refinitiv, Bloomberg Terminal)

Excellent organisational skills, keen eye for detail and ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Have financial modeling experience

Have a good understanding of financial and investment concepts such as capital markets, asset classes, portfolio management processes, risk-adjusted returns etc.

Excellent data-mining and analytical skills;

Familiar with fundamental and technical analysis

Able to communicate effectively with others in oral and written formats in English and Mandarin

Practical knowledge in simulation, testing, and statistical modelling (multivariate regression, time series modelling, etc.);

Education and Experience:

Degree in Finance, economics, or quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance or equivalent;

Bilingual in both English and Mandarin.

Renumeration:

Monthly allowance: $1000 - $1200
