Estate Caretaker / Handyman

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced caretaker/handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of a private estate. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, is proactive, and can manage responsibilities independently.

You will have flexibility in planning your daily work and schedule, but you are fully accountable for maintaining the property to a high standard at all times.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for keeping the property clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
• Plan and manage your daily tasks independently to ensure all areas are consistently maintained
• Lawn care, mowing, trimming, and overall grounds maintenance
• Pool care and basic maintenance
• Pest control and monitoring
• HVAC and other maintenance checks
• Performing handyman repairs and maintenance as needed
• Operating lawn mowing equipment and basic tools
• Ensuring the property is always guest ready, regardless of weather conditions
• Providing assistance when guests are present

Experience

• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be a non-smoker
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
• 2 to 3 years of handyman, maintenance, or property care experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and general repairs
• Ability to operate lawn mowing equipment and similar tools
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding tasks

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
