Well Groomed Pets is a modern grooming salon providing the most advanced wellness and grooming services available. We are looking for experienced full & part time dog groomers for our newest location. We customize every pet grooming treatment for optimal results that are specific to the pet’s breed and wellness condition. We include physical, physiological and behavioral wellness exams, all of which are performed by our Wellness Technician so that the groomers can focus on grooming! Our goal is to ensure Well Groomed clients are the happiest, healthiest, and the best looking dogs they can be.

Our brand- new salon is updated with the best amenities, grooming products, and was specially designed for the comfort of the pets and the groomers. Responsibilities

• Perform high quality grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping to ensure pets look their best.
• Be able to handle animals with care, employ animal restraint techniques when necessary to manage pets safely and effectively during grooming sessions.
• Be comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, coat types, and sizes
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Gain Fear Free Certification once hired (class provided by salon)
• Assist new team members in grooming techniques and animal handling practices.
• Provide exceptional service, building lasting relationships with pet parents through friendly interactions about grooming needs, providing expert advice on pet care and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of various breeds, coats, sizes and their specific grooming needs.
• Demonstrated ability in animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet parents about their pets' needs.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and managing large animals when required.

We will be holding in-person interviews which will include the completion of one groom displaying your abilities!

Compensation is hourly plus weekly bonuses and tips.
