Retail Security Officer – Key Skills & Experience

• Over 5 years’ experience in retail security (non-negotiable)
• Fully experienced in operating CCTV systems
• Competent in all site tasks and duties in line with company policies, procedures, instructions, and operational manuals
• Professional and reliable first point of contact for all security-related matters
• Experienced in preventing and detecting unauthorised entry
• Strong background in asset protection and prevention of loss and waste
• Experienced in key management and site security procedures
• Excellent customer service skills, providing assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Skilled in reporting, recording, and responding to incidents, accidents, health & safety matters, and emergency situations
• Conduct regular site checks and patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Completed relevant site training and possess strong working knowledge to fulfil all assigned duties and tasks
• Able to assist team members with the day-to-day delivery of security services
• Proactive in identifying, acting upon, and reporting potential issues
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and wear uniform correctly at all times
• Flexible and available for on-call cover when required

Key Requirements

• Valid PSA Licence
• Minimum 5 years’ retail security experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Local to the area
• References required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
