Facility Maintenance Technician Ii

Our team is seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance Technician II to join our team and ensure our facility operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic and routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues or hazards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in coordinating and overseeing contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Clean before and after Testing Trials at the BIC (Innovation Center)
  • We have two sites that will be maintained by this position.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing and industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, boilers, and mechanical equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA).
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in various conditions.
