Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse practitioner for our growing clinic. Our is a patient-focused healthcare practice dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to the Monroeville community. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional clinical care, build strong patient relationships, and contribute to our mission of improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation.
• Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with state regulations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide coordinated patient care.
• Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Alabama Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care approach.
• Prior experience in primary care, urgent care, or family practice preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time: Sunday–Saturday (no major holidays).
• Hour: can work 8 hour or 10 hour days.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $91,092.58 - $109,702.89 per year
