<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across diverse populations. <Responsibilities>

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across age groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical judgment.
  • Administer treatments such as injections, IV infusions, suturing, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and esthetic laser procedures to enhance patient well-being.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory tests, medical imaging, sonography, and specimen collection/processing to inform clinical decisions.
  • Coordinate care plans with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, geriatrics, behavioral health, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and more to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-9/10, CPT).
  • Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of patient confidentiality.
  • Provide education on health coaching, medication administration, nutrition, family planning, discharge planning, and post-acute care strategies.
  • Participate in case management activities including utilization review and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities to optimize health outcomes.

<Skills>

  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or Practicefusion for documentation and data management.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology to support accurate patient assessment and treatment.
  • Experience performing advanced procedures like spinal taps, catheterizations (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, sterile processing techniques or ventilator management.
  • Skilled in acute pain management techniques and addiction treatment including nerve blocks or other modalities; experience with dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast pace clinic Monday to Friday to provider patient-centered quality care
  • Familiarity with occupational health protocols including Workers' Compensation law; experience in mental health medication management and ketamine infusion is plus.
  • Competence in placing IV , blood draw as well, knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes; experience with laboratory testing or diagnostic imaging is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education across age groups including children and elderly populations; adept at working within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate complex care plans. Join us in making a meaningful difference through energetic leadership and expert clinical care!

Pay: $100,631.40 - $132,029.22 per year
