Fee Income Officer

Job Title: Fee Income Officer

Role Description:

To perform the role of Fees Income Officer with responsibility for managing the booking, life-cycle events, collections and reconciliation of Credit Facility related Fees.

This role will support our North America Wholesale business line and working hours will be 2pm – 10pm.

This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

All candidates for this role must have the Right to Work in Ireland – Be an EU Citizen or holder of a valid Stamp 4 Visa or Stamp 1G.

Main Tasks of Role:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate extensive experience in:

Core Tasks;

  • Extensive experience in managing all fee related activities including calculation, invoicing, settlement and reporting.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and experience in the fee accruals process.
  • Ensuring all fee arrangements are captured clearly and in a standard format and reflected accurately on the banks core system.
  • Practical experience using the main systems used to manage the risk portfolio (e.g. Flexcube and other Platforms i.e. Operational Core Banking Systems)
  • Matching fees received with Agent notices, reconciling and clearing as appropriate.
  • Reporting of overdue fees and effective follow up of same.
  • Other fee related ad hoc initiatives and report preparation as required.
  • Identifying and recording any errors identified as part of the fees reconciliation process.
  • Checking the correctness, completeness and reliability of documents according to the procedure, work instruction and policies.
  • Ensuring operational processes are followed and challenge existing ways of working.
  • Escalating effectively to deal with bottlenecks, knowledge gaps or barriers.
  • The ability to highlight any areas with potential for improvement to services products or processes and give advice on improvements.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of internal controls, reconciliations & discrepancy identification
  • Build strong partnerships with our customers and key stakeholders, supporting the delivery of quality services in line with agreed service levels by being able to translate issues into solutions
  • Adherence to team performance measures to assure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of processing activities
  • Use standard problem solving and improvement approaches where potential improvement areas are identified
  • Question, analyse and improve output, leading to measurable improvements in quality and efficiency

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of the Fee products and processes associated with these products
  • Practical experience using Flexcube or other Core Banking Systems
  • Experience handling high volumes within quick turnaround times adhering to strict cut offs
  • Knowledge of revenue collection mechanisms and internal Fee Policy documentation and related finance procedures
  • Ability to manage and support Problem Solving activities focused on root cause analysis
  • Ability to deliver and facilitate learning initiatives
  • Competent in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel
  • High level of numeric and written competence
