Field Product Manager CMF & Power Tools Nordics – Johnson & Johnson MedTech Nordics


The Nordic J&J MedTech Marketing team, TECA (Trauma Extremity Craniomaxillofacial Animal Health) is searching a Field Product Manager (FPM) responsible to drive the overall strategy in the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) and Power Tools platforms, implementing and executing business strategies. The FPM will drive CMF & Power Tools projects & opportunities and support the sales organization by leveraging extensive product and clinical knowledge and commercial skills.

FPM for CMF & Power Tools will be a Key player in our Nordic TECA + Sports Marketing team consisting of 1 TECA + Sports Lead and 1 Field Product Manager CMF & Power Tools. Together TECA + Sports Lead and Field Product Manager has an overall responsibility for the CMF & Power Tools portfolio and marketing tasks. Field Product Manager will be working actively supporting the Nordic direct sales organization responsible for CMF & Power Tools including Agent and Distributor collaboration.

Objectives of the position:

  • Drive and active part in the strategic and tactical planning process, by focusing for tactical product portfolio implementation especially in conjunction with new product launches.
  • Map out the therapeutic area of CMF & Power Tools with focus on therapeutic area potential, procedure numbers, technology penetration, pricing, hospital capacity, patient pathway.
  • Function as the contact person between EMEA and local sales and ensure strategic alignment with J&J MedTech EMEA
  • Strive to improve internal alignment among the sales force regards to market activities and tools
  • Train and educate the sales teams, keeping them up to date on products, competitors, market trends and clinical data.
  • Assessing competitor activity and implementing a proactive approach to increase sales and market share in CMF & Power Tools.
  • Support the overall business strategy and ensure that marketing tools developed, and actions executed are meeting customer needs.
  • Build customer network and support in establishing key strategic partnerships with KOL and priority centers in the Nordic countries.
  • Capex responsibility, supervise return on investment and keep expenditures within the budget. Close collaboration with Nordic Supply Chain Team.
  • Strategic product supporting responsibility on tenders and follow up of pricing trends & guidelines. Ortho Kit Loan set and Workshop set responsibility.
  • Responsible for sales activities according to given targets and strategies in local market in CMF providing customer service and support.

Qualifications required:

  • University degree preferable within health care/economics/marketing
  • At least 3 years of experience from working with sales or marketing in Orthopedic business (preferably in CMF and/or Power Tools)
  • Deep knowledge of the Medical Device industry and the Health Care market
  • Strong written and verbal communication, proficient in English and local language (SE, FI, or DK)
  • Preferred being located in Finland or Sweden
  • Skilled in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Expected travel away from home periodically is 1-3 days/week.
