We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team in The Waikato to help install, configure, service, and repair and service our customers' multi-function Copiers and Printers.
Responsibilities include.
- Delivering, installing, and configuring new equipment to customer sites
- Visiting customer sites in response to service callouts as required. (some travel around the region may be required)
- Discuss all machine faults and problems with customers professionally and courteously, advising the customer on all aspects of the Service call
- Fault finding and repairing customer equipment (both on-site and in the workshop) efficiently to ensure minimum downtime with maximum customer satisfaction.
- Carrying out workshop duties and in-house equipment maintenance, assisting the in-house team with repairs and unboxing of machines from time to time.
- Provide our customers with ad hoc end-user training on our hardware and software solutions.
- Accurately account for all spare parts and consumables used in the field.
- Complete all necessary online training through HP's learning platforms.
Key Attributes
- Professional manner and presentation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ideally, 3-5 years of proven experience in the installation, configuration, and repair of MFD/Copier and Printers.
- Ability to confidently load and upgrade Print drivers on customer's workstations.
- Excellent problem-solving ability to enable accurate fault finding.
- Calm under pressure. Ability to make decisions and work autonomously.
- Sound practical electromechanical experience servicing and fault-finding business equipment.
- Excellent computer skills & experience using a field service system and diagnostic programmes.
- Strong technical aptitude, Network IT proficiency, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong time-management skills
- Current EAS (Electrical Appliance Service Person) Practicing License.
- Full NZ Driver's License.
