Our client is looking for Finance Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Accountant to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring sound financial management and operational efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred
• Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Proven ability to manage costing, budgets, and financial controls
• Experience in implementing accounting systems and supporting new business ventures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Costing Control: Manage and monitor costing processes to ensure optimal financial efficiency
• Project Management: Provide financial oversight and support for various projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
• Financial Control: Maintain robust financial control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance
• Account Systems Implementation: Lead the implementation of new accounting systems to streamline financial processes
• New Business Unit Setup:
• o Establish financial frameworks and accounts for newly launched business units
• o Handling full set of accounts including monthly/yearly account closure
• o Offer financial support and insights to support their growth and operations

• · Funds Management: Oversee cash flow, investments, and financial reserves to meet organizational needs
• · Corporate Performance Reporting and Review: Compile and analyze corporate performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations
• · Annual Budget Preparation: Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• · Contract and Agreement Review: Evaluate commercial contracts with clients and agreements with suppliers for financial accuracy and compliance
• · Accounting Treatment Recommendations: Provide guidance on accounting treatments in line with International Accounting Standards
• · Functional/Divisional Performance Reporting: Prepare regular performance reports for individual functions or divisions to support informed decision-making

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
