We are an established Fund Management Company incorporated in Singapore but with presence in APAC, focusing on high growth technology-related companies in their early to growth-stage. Currently, the group has offices in Singapore, Taipei, Beijing and Shanghai. Currently, it has more than US$550 million funds under management and has invested in over 500 companies and divested more than 450 companies of which more than 115 have been publicly listed.
The Singapore headquarter, which is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and holds a CMS licence in Fund Management, is looking for a strong finance candidate to support the finance and admin team.
We are looking for a quality support person to join the Finance department to assist in corporate accounting and administration for the Company. This person will report directly to Head of Finance.
Job description
Data entry of Purchasing Invoices, Receipts, Payments and Journal Entries in Dynamics 365 Business Central system
Payment preparation, Raise payment vouchers and journal vouchers for various disbursements for approval
Handle travelling claims and billing issues
Handle closing of accounts and prepare full set of accounts within tight deadline
Perform bank reconciliation of all bank accounts for the companies
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and ensure that the sub-ledger tally to the general ledger
Raise debit/credit note to related parties for payments on their behalf
Prepare and submit Quarterly GST, WHT
Review proper transaction journals for closing of other entities within the group
Assist and prepare relevant supporting for internal and external auditor
Prepare annual budget report in Dynamics 365 Business Central system
Liaise with external parties such as vendors, landlord, banks, auditor and relevant statutory/ regulatory authorities
Handle compliance matters with MAS such as quarterly filing, assist in representative license application, response to MAS Queries and Surveys
Assist in ad-hoc admin tasks
Provide support in any other matters that the Management require including ad hoc projects etc.

B. Specific Requirements:
Good accounting skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central knowledge is a must
Able to speak and write fluently in English and Mandarin to liaise with chinese-speaking internal and external stakeholders
Able to start work immediately
C. Qualification
Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent qualification
Min 2 years relevant working experience
