Finance And Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records while meeting reporting deadlines. This role establishes internal controls, ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and oversees the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures in alignment with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Management

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and prepare accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Assist the Budget Committee in preparing and analyzing budgets, including generating related reports.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in accordance with standards.
  • Coordinate and support external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Develop action plans, conduct internal audits, propose system/process improvements, and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead, guide, and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial outputs.
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation for transparency and auditing.
  • Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities are completed accurately and on schedule.

Performance Management

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to subordinates.
  • Conduct performance evaluations in a timely and consistent manner.

System Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and program standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Accounting graduate.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a managerial role handling accounting functions, preferably within a group of companies or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; trustworthy, patient, assertive, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.
  • Strong negotiation, communication (oral and written), problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
