Our company is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to work in our retail store. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with employees to create a positive and productive work environment, supporting the manager and store owner in the daily operations of the store, and assisting in setting goals and achieving results. We are seeking an individual who is energetic, customer-oriented, and proactive about achieving goals.
Responsibilities:
Use interpersonal skills to assist in the management of the supervising executive, including taking minutes of staff meetings and maintaining an up-to-date calendar of staff activities.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
Prepare reports, read and summarize pertinent literature, and present staff reports to executives.
Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals., either in writing or verbally.
Gather and analyze data; prepare statistical tables, charts and graphs; interpret data using computer software.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial information to determine the agency's financial position.
Assist in the development of the agency's operating and capital budgets., including preparing financial projections for presentation to senior management; making recommendations concerning budget allocations., including suggesting cuts in spending or outside services that can be eliminated or contracted out.
Analyze proposed legislation for financial impact on state agencies; work with other agencies to ensure that proposed bills that may affect the agency are included in legislative analyses prior to introduction.
Analyze contracts for compliance with state.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $136,932.23-$165,370.65 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
