Finance Assistant

A dynamic Operations team is looking for a highly detail‑oriented and analytical Finance Assistant to support financial reporting, data accuracy, and expense reconciliation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in numbers-driven work, enjoys cross-functional coordination, and is committed to precision and timely financial processing.

Key Responsibilities

Expense Processing & Reconciliation

  • Process and reconcile expense reports across various activities and internal functions
  • Validate expense data by cross-checking supporting documentation and internal records
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies through coordination with internal stakeholders

Monthly & Quarterly Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial reports for internal review
  • Collaborate with Operations and Product Management teams to validate report accuracy
  • Compile quarterly financial summaries to support invoicing and reporting requirements
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure reporting completeness and integrity

Data Validation & Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Operations staff on data processing, auditing, and validation
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems
  • Support process improvements that strengthen reporting workflows and data controls

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative

Technical & Communication Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Zoho CRM is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to review and process contracts when needed
