Finance Director

HEALTHCARE FINANCE DIRECTOR - Fractional (approx. 20 hrs/wk)

EKF Management is seeking a Finance Director for its contracted client healthcare companies

This role will be responsible or involved in the following:
Facilitating contract negotiations

Supervising financial reporting and budgeting

Ensuring a healthcare organization’s finances meet legal requirements

Analyzing financial reports and market trends to find ways to lower costs and increase profits

Consulting with top executives about financial decisions

Supervising other accounting staff

Overseeing internal controls

Setting financial targets

Developing a financial strategy

Conducting feasibility studies

Monitoring expenditures

Overseeing annual insurance

Monitoring cash flow

Managing tax compliance

Medicare Cost Reports

Education: Minimum - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area such as Accounting, Business

Administration, or Finance. Preferred - Master’s degree in a relevant subject area such as Business with an emphasis in Finance or Health Care Fiscal Management

Work Experience Minimum - 5 years of relevant experience in progressively responsible management or supervisory level Finance roles to include three (3) years of relevant experience in health care finance or a public accounting firm performing healthcare audits and/or accounting functions

Licenses & Certifications

Preferred - Licensure as a Certified Public Accountant
