In this role, you will function as an integral part of the client’s sales team, contributing directly to their mission while receiving guidance and support from both the client’s leadership and the Pivotl team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Finance Director to oversee and enhance the financial operations of a rapidly growing EdTech company with multiple international entities. This role calls for deep expertise in FP&A, proven experience in multi-entity consolidation, and the ability to act as a trusted financial advisor to the executive leadership team.

As Finance Director, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, lead financial planning and reporting, and play a key role in strategic decisions that support growth and scalability. You will work closely with the client’s CFO while benefiting from the support and infrastructure of Pivotl Solutions’ leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee consolidation of financials across several international legal entities.
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reports.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP) and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions in partnership with external partners and internal staff.
• Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and procedures.
• Mentor and develop finance team members to foster a high-performance culture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial alignment on company initiatives and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance leadership.
• Strong FP&A background, including forecasting and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in managing consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across remote and global teams.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

Additional Details

• This is a night-shift position to align with U.S. Eastern Time working hours.
• Hybrid role: mix of remote work and onsite collaboration at Pivotl’s office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php150,000.00 per month
