Finance Head

Blanc Ventures Inc, a growing e-commerce brand, is looking for an organized, detail-oriented FINANCE HEAD who is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, reporting on revenue, training accounting staff, budgeting, disbursing funds to departments, managing risk, implementing policies, and improving financial processes. The Finance Head will also help set and track financial goals, objectives, and budgets.

Finance Head Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directing financial planning and strategy.
• Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.
• Overseeing audit and tax functions.
• Training accounting staff.
• Reviewing departmental budgets.
• Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.
• Analyzing complex financial data.
• Developing and implementing accounting policies.
• Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
• Managing internal controls.
• Assist with high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
• Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
• Supervise financial reporting and budgeting team.
• Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
• All related tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or (Financial Management and Management Accounting)
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the related field
• Be able to demonstrate average skill in basic computer programs including but not limited to: Google Email, Google Chrome, GSuite (Google Docs, Google Sheets), MS Word, MS Excel.
• Have skills in Quickbooks or any online accounting system
• Have skills in general accounting, taxation and have experience in e-commerce industry
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to automate reports, with good understanding of sales and distribution channels (i.e., consignment and outright)
• Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
• Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
