Finance Intern

Role Summary

The Finance Intern supports the finance team in day-to-day financial operations, reporting, analysis, and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable processes, and business performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data.
  • Help reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, presentations, and management reports.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
  • Support audits and compliance-related activities.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance and interest in finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Experience with financial modeling or data analysis.
