Finance Manager

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager (m/w/d) to join us at our facility in Basel.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range working capital and cash flow

• Collaborate across the Finance function to create and analyze a monthly Three Statement (Axalta’s Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement)

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement while partnering with the business FP&A teams on drivers for results and updates to forecasts

• Partner with Treasury team to ensure Direct and Indirect cash flow analysis are aligned monthly

• Track and analyze KPI metrics and prepare ad-hoc analysis to support decision making (i.e., DSO, DPO, IDS, EPS, Net Leverage, and FCF Conversion)

• Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and board reporting material

• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Support Investor Relations team with strategic modelling and quarterly earnings materials

Key requirements:

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, FP&A and corporate finance

• Exceptional financial acumen including strong analytical, financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills

• Independent/Self-starter with high attention to detail

• Superior problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)

• Exceptional proficiency in Excel

• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills

• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, and Microsoft Business Intelligence a plus

• Minimal travel required - <10%
