Abrel Products was founded in 1994, and is head-quartered in Limerick. The company commenced operations manufacturing Burn-in Boards for reliability testing of Semiconductors. This continues to be the core business for the company but over time the product range manufactured by the company has expanded to include Endzone Burn-in Systems, Bibtest55XL board testers and Socket test probes. Abrel is now a global company with a worldwide network of customers.

Finance Manager

Abrel has an immediate vacancy for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for the Finance Department and complete financial function within the company. Reporting to the CEO, previous experience in a manufacturing environment or in a similar industry is preferable. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible working hours and hybrid working arrangements available. We are also open to facilitating a 4 day work week for the right candidate if that is your preference.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Plan and organise all financial matters in the company

· Responsible for high quality, accurate, on time, financial and operations analysis and reporting, including recommendations and follow on actions.

· Liaise and support other departments within the company

· Managing Creditors and Debtors function on an ongoing basis.

· Monitoring of Cashflows including daily supervision and monthly reconciliation/variance analysis of Bank and cash balances

· Liaise with banks and financial institutions on an ongoing basis.

· Prepare monthly management accounts.

· Prepare Finance Pack for presentation at board meetings.

· Preparation and submission of statutory reports (CSO, Intrastat, VIES etc.)

· Prepare General Ledger Entries and reconciliations through financial statements.

· Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, including ongoing performance review of jobs and resulting variance analysis.

· Liaise with external auditors and ensure implementation of requests and recommendations

· Preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payroll on Sage Payroll (including expenses and commissions)

· Preparation and submission of all revenue returns, VAT, PAYE/PRSI, etc

· Assist with Grant applications

Qualifications/Skills

· ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA accreditation / qualification

· 2 - 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or similar industry

· Strong commercial awareness, business acumen

· Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability with high accuracy

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders

· Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and to focus on and meet deadlines

· Proficient knowledge and skill in computer applications, including Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll, together with a high level of competency in Excel

· Flexible, self-motivator.
