Finance Manager

The Hot Box Sauna is Ireland’s leading sauna and wellness experience, offering a unique blend of relaxation, community, and wellbeing. With six thriving locations, and a seventh on the way, we are expanding fast and looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the company’s day-to-day financial operations and support the CFO in maintaining financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, including bank, Cards and POS systems reconciliations, accounts Payable/Receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, ensuring accurate integration and reporting.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure full compliance with Irish tax and accounting regulations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and financial reports for review with the
• CFO.
• Process payroll and ensure PAYE and statutory filings are completed accurately and on time.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, and the external accountant to ensure smooth and accurate financial
• operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Maintain full control of the financial systems and reporting that underpin the business.
• Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting to support ongoing growth.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management and accounting
• Experience in managing finances for a small to medium sized business, ideally with retail outlets spanning across multiple sites.
• Strong hands-on working experience of VAT, payroll, and tax compliance in Ireland.
• Proficient in one of the following accounting systems: Xero (preferred), SAGE 50, QuickBooks, SAP or Surf Accounts/BrightBooks.
• Proven track record of ownership and accountability, with ability to plan and control own workload.
• Partial of full Accounting qualification (IATI, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Right to work in Ireland (Work Permit Sponsorship is not available).
• Ability to work from the office location in Dublin 2.

Working hrs: 40 hrs per week, office hours

Work model: Onsite in Head office
