Role Overview
The Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Consolidation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements and management reports across multiple entities. The role oversees the full financial reporting cycle, including consolidation, financial close, and reporting analysis, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and strong financial governance. It serves as a key partner to management and external stakeholders by delivering reliable financial information and insights.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and financial statement review
- Experience in audit firm or strong audit exposure is required
- Strong background in financial reporting processes, financial statement preparation, and consolidation
- Experience in multi-entity organizations is highly preferred
- Exposure to industries such as public utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (PFRS/IFRS)
- Experience in external audit coordination and financial controls environment
- Preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements for multiple entities
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
- Perform detailed financial statement review, including variance analysis and validation of supporting schedules
- Manage consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and reconciliation of accounts
- Ensure proper application and consistent interpretation of financial reporting standards (PFRS/IFRS) across all reporting entities
- Prepare and review financial reporting packages for management, internal stakeholders, and external reporting requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors during interim and annual audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit issues and provision of supporting documentation
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls over financial reporting processes and compliance requirements
- Provide financial analysis and insights to explain key drivers of financial performance and variances
- Support improvements in reporting systems, processes, and closing efficiency to enhance accuracy and timeliness
- Supervise and mentor junior team members involved in financial reporting and consolidation activities
Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
