As a Finance Manager, you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases for Fire TV. The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self starter with strong business partnership, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop the business case and the financial models for new devices.
- Partner with Product Management and Sales/Marketing teams to understand and influence the financials of all new and existing devices within the portfolio
- Partner with horizontal Finance teams to drive free cash flow initiatives and forecasts
- Drive finance communication with the business teams on product performance, financial impact, and risks & opportunities.
- Generate and own lifetime value financials for all Fire TV products.
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
