We are looking for detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer with a strong background in accounting to support the financial health and compliance of the organization. The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in supporting daily financial operations and long-term financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Record and reconcile general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Maintain and update supporting schedules for financial accounts, including fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
- Monitor and process payments to suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Oversee billing and collection processes to ensure timely receivables.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track budget utilization and provide variance analysis to management.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory reporting requirements, and company policies.
- File monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and financial processes.
- Assist in implementing financial systems and automation tools for improved efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, tax regulations, and local accounting standards.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- CPA license is an advantage but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
