Today, AGCI empowers local leaders across 10 countries to intervene for the 8 million children living in institutions and create more paths to family and independence.
In the Philippines, our work centers around the prevention of Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC). We work with children at risk of this abuse, as well as those within their sphere of influence—parents, caregivers, teachers, social workers, and law enforcement—to disrupt trauma and build resiliency.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Officer supports the financial operations of AGCI Philippines, ensuring accurate and timely processing, documentation, and reporting of all financial transactions. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with AGCI’s financial policies, local government regulations, and donor requirements. • Track and verify all program expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and asset ledgers.

Budgeting & Financial Planning:
  • Support the Executive Director in preparing monthly and quarterly budget reports.
  • Monitor expenditure patterns and alert the Executive Director of potential overspending or underutilization.
  • Assist program staff in tracking activity-level budgets, ensuring expenditures are within scope.

Reporting & Compliance:
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and submit them to the Executive Director for review and consolidation.
  • Support in generating donor-specific or project-based financial reports as required.
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, Withholding Taxes, VAT, etc.) in coordination with the Executive.
  • Assist with documentation and preparation for internal and external audits.

Collaboration and Team Support:
  • Work closely with the Executive Director, program leads, and administrative staff to ensure smooth coordination of financial and operational activities.
  • Uphold AGCI’s culture of integrity, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an NGO or social service organization.
