Role Overview
You Will
- Supervise, develop and retain talents
- Manage the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Oversee monthly closing process
- Prepare monthly cost trend analysis, understanding and explaining reasons behind fluctuations
- Lead external audit, collaborating with other teams in preparing schedules, responding to queries and address audit findings
- Work with Finance Controller on the preparation of annual financial statements and disclosures
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns
- Oversee tax audits, collaborating with other teams in preparing schedules, responding to queries and address audit findings
- Develop and implement tax strategies, identify tax savings opportunities
- Review and ensure accuracy of tax-related journal entries and tax provisions
- Oversee company bank accounts, maintain relationship with bank partners on new regulations and service facilities
- Execute foreign exchange transactions and manage currency risk as needed
- Review weekly cash forecast, collaborating with AR and AP teams on collection and payment estimates and be able to explain variances vs. actual
Requirements
Qualifications: (required)
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant
- With at least 10 years of solid work experience in General Ledger, Tax and Treasury in a multi-national company or complex organization under a computerized accounting setup; At least 3 years of people management experience
- Well versed in PH taxation;
- Strong knowledge in MS Excel and other reporting tools; Strong attention to details, leadership and decision-making skills
- Detail oriented, analytic and resourceful
- Excellent communicating skills and stakeholder management
- Willing to adopt a hybrid work set up (3x reporting onsite)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in the use of Microsoft D365, an advantage
