Financial Controller

Job Summary:

As the Financial Controller at Swyft, you will lead the operational accounting functions and
financial reporting processes remotely. This critical role ensures the accuracy of financial
operations, adherence to internal controls, and the development of Finance modules in
NetSuite. You will serve as a key leader within the Finance team, driving operational excellence
and fostering collaboration with partners across various departments.

Payscale: $130,000-$165,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the global financial accounting team, fostering professional growth, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting operations. Internal Controls: Of primary importance for the person in this role will be to develop, document, implement, and maintain internal controls over the Finance Function inclusive but not limited to controls surrounding Cash, Inventory Assets, and Fixed Assets.
• Operational Accounting: This role is responsible for establishing, documenting, and ensuring adherence to all accounting policies and procedures as established by the corporation. Of utmost importance is the understanding of a Company in the FMGC (fast-moving consumer goods) environment and the unique accounting controls and policies required to secure the revenue of both the company and the company?s clientele.
• Technology and NetSuite Development: This role requires a technologist. The person in this role must embrace, constantly learn, and be quick to deploy all our technological tools for constant improved efficiency and accuracy. NetSuite is our primary accounting software, but we have a number of in-house proprietary software which the finance function relies upon.
• Collaborate: This person will be a leader for the team and should possess the skills to demonstrate collaboration and teamwork within the finance team and across all functional teams of the organization. Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Compliance: Communicate, enforce, and enhance internal control compliance within Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash, and Record to Reporting processes.
