Fleet Manager

• Organizing the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel.
• Organizing the assemblage, maintenance and use of fleet vehicles.
• Monitor and control operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and salaries.
• Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles.
• Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports
• Managing Contracts and hire, train, and manage drivers, ensuring they meet performance standards.
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Use data to make decisions regarding fleet size, driver retention, and service improvements.

Should a taxi driver be unable to work due to illness, the fleet manager is responsible for temporarily covering their shifts as needed
