Floor Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, specifically within restaurants and banquet settings. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to team management and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily floor operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and manage front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts.
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
• Monitor dining room activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Assist in planning and executing special events or banquets as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, including coffee and other beverage offerings.

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
• Proficient in supervising staff while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak service times.
• Familiarity with interviewing techniques to build a strong team.
• A passion for coffee and beverage service is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
