Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Train and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Handle cash management and ensure accurate POS transactions using Aloha or Micros systems.
- Oversee food handling practices to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant performance.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance the dining experience.
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and fine dining experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of inventory control, cash handling, and budgeting principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
- Experience in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
