Floor Manager – Established Downtown Calgary Restaurants

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
• Lead the front-of-house team to provide a seamless, high-quality dining experience
• Maintain and enforce exceptional service standards
• Engage with guests, addressing concerns and ensuring service recovery when needed
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Act as a role model for professionalism and hospitality excellence
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of the FOH team
• Foster a positive, high-energy, and team-oriented culture
• Operations & Floor Management:
• Ensure smooth service by effectively managing staff, table flow, and reservations
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and maintaining operational efficiency
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain communication and service consistency
• Business & Sales Focus:
• Help drive sales through strong service execution and upselling techniques
• Maintain product knowledge, including menu offerings and beverage pairings
• Support senior management in achieving business goals and guest satisfaction targets

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
• Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and team leadership
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced service environment
• A desire to develop and grow into a senior management role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
