Food Runner

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient Delivery: Promptly deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring orders are accurate and presented beautifully.
• Order Accuracy: Double-check orders before serving to ensure all items are correct, complete, and meet quality standards.
• Support Service Team: Assist servers by providing necessary silverware, side plates, or additional items to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the service areas—including the kitchen and dining spaces—organized and tidy, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.
• Effective Communication: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service, and communicate any special requests or modifications to orders.
• Food Safety Standards: Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and guest safety.
• Enhance the Guest Experience: Contribute to a positive dining atmosphere by helping guests feel well-cared-for and providing friendly, attentive service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and organizational standards.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure smooth interactions with guests, kitchen, and service staff.
• A team player, always willing to assist colleagues in the kitchen or dining area as needed to ensure the success of the team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the restaurant.
• A passion for culinary arts and an interest in learning more about food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
