Fruit Production Supervisor

Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 3
Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $27 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience OR Level 4 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily fruit production and orchard activities.
• Monitor crop growth, plant health, and fruit quality.
• Ensure correct irrigation, fertilisation, and pest and disease control.
• Allocate tasks and supervise orchard workers and seasonal staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Train staff in safe work practices and horticultural techniques.
• Plan and implement seasonal activities such as pruning, thinning, and harvesting.
• Maintain production records and operational documentation.
• Oversee safe use and basic maintenance of orchard tools and machinery.
• Liaise with management on production targets and operational issues.
