Shanley Interiors is a premier furniture and interior design store dedicated to helping customers create beautiful, functional spaces. We pride ourselves on offering quality products alongside expert guidance and exceptional customer service. We also manufacture bespoke furniture in-house at our on-site facility in Navan, allowing us to create custom pieces tailored to our customers’ unique needs and specifications.

The Role

We are seeking experienced retail sales associates who are passionate about interiors and committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as part of our trading schedule.

Position Details

∙ Part-time: 24-30 hours per week

∙ Full-time: 40 hours per week

∙ Weekend positions: Saturdays and Sundays only (part-time hours) - may suit mature students

∙ Weekend and bank holiday working required for all positions

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

∙ Previous retail experience, ideally within furniture, homewares, or interior design

∙ Strong knowledge of interiors, including current trends, materials, and design principles

∙ Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to understand and meet customer needs

∙ Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

∙ Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays

∙ Customer-focused approach, committed to supporting clients throughout their entire journey

∙ Proactive and driven, with the ability to take initiative

Key Responsibilities

∙ Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on product selection and interior design

∙ Consulting with clients on bespoke furniture options and liaising with our in-house manufacturing team

∙ Building lasting relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction from initial consultation through to purchase and beyond

∙ Maintaining excellent product knowledge across our range

∙ Contributing to visual merchandising and store presentation

∙ Processing sales transactions and managing customer orders

∙ Supporting the wider team to achieve store targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.00-€17.00 per hour
