Gelato Server (Part-Time)

INITIA Group SG (Tofu G) are looking for Gelato Server Staff!

Job Level: Entry level to Intermediate

Salary Range (Part time): $16 - $20 / hr

Work timings available: (4hrs straight duty), at least thrice a week duty

Department: Operations Department - F&B

Locations:

• Orchard: Mandarin Gallery
• Takashimaya: Ngee Ann City

Overall Job Objectives:

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate individuals to deliver warm, friendly, and exceptional food & beverage service standards within INITIA Group F&B Brands. The Gelato Server will support the Outlet In-Charge in enhancing customer experience and boosting outlet performance through quality service.

Core Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent, friendly service.
• Scoop and serve gelato accurately and attractively according to portion standards.
• Prepare gelato-based items (e.g., cones, cups, sundaes, affogatos, milkshakes).
• Refill display cases with gelato, ensuring freshness, cleanliness, and visual appeal.
• Monitor gelato stock levels and report shortages or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Operate POS systems and handle transactions
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, including temperature control and storage standards.
• Assist in daily opening and closing procedures.
• Participate in inventory checks and assist in product rotation (FIFO system).

Job Specifications:

• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Prefer a candidate with excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate positive energy and professionalism.
• Friendly, outgoing, and committed to outstanding customer service.
• Minimum working requirement: at least one weekday and one weekend shift.
• Please note: Work Visa will not be provided by the company.

Key Deliverables:

• Ensure prompt, friendly, and consistent service at all times.
• Maintain smooth operations by adhering to procedures and handling POS/ordering systems effectively.
• Ensure gelato display and portioning meet visual and taste standards.
• Represent the brand with professional grooming and positive interaction.
