General Manager - National Carpentry Installation - NCI

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager Carpentry, General Contracting and Repair divisions.

NCI or National Carpentry Installation is located in Winnipeg at 981 Main Street.

This is a FT role and involves overseeing all aspects of the assigned divisions including project management, financial performance, staff management, and quality standards

Key Responsibilities Details

Project Management - Overseeing all aspects of carpentry projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. This includes scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality control.

Staff Management - Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating carpentry staff, including carpenters, project managers, and other support personnel.

Financial Management - Developing and managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring profitability of projects.

Client Relations - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.

Quality Control

Implementing and enforcing quality standards to ensure that all carpentry work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Business Development - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and increasing company visibility.

Safety Compliance - Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of professionals.
• Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management principles and experience in overseeing complex projects.
• Carpentry Knowledge: A solid understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction practices.
• Financial Management: Proficiency in budgeting, financial tracking, and profitability analysis.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and make sound decisions.
• Time Management and Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Salary Range: up to $7,000 to $11,000 Monthly plus potential opportunity performance bonuses.
