We are looking for a General Manager to oversee our APAC operations. This key leadership role will be responsible for P&L management, strategic business development, and operational excellence across our regional manufacturing network.
Responsibilities
- Drive overall P&L performance for APAC/ME regions, ensuring effective cash contribution to GAC's overall EBITDA targets.
- Serve as the primary interface between Clariant and Wilmar for business opportunities beyond the core Global Amines portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (SCM, Operations, Procurement & Sales) to execute business strategy and contribute to Group targets.
- Partner with the Global Head of Operations to optimize performance of manufacturing sites in China, Indonesia, and Japan.
- Ensure high utilization rates across 5 manufacturing/tolling sites in the APAC region.
- Lead product cost optimization initiatives including direct/indirect spend savings, raw materials replacement, and logistics cost reduction.
- Oversee portfolio optimization across various production sites.
- Lead global tenders for key accounts.
- Manage working capital effectively to optimize cash flow.
